What is a simple life pleasure you may ask?

it’s life’s simple pleasures – the moments, sensations, and actions that we experience, feel, and do every day, often without taking notice – that can lead to an unequivocal amount of joy.

They are small parts of your day, that just bring you so much joy. They might be small or irrelevant to others but to you they could make a huge difference in your mood or the outcome of your day. Today I’ll be sharing with you my 7 simple life pleasures, and I want to hear yours too!

1. The crack of thunder in the sky
2. Being able to watch the sunset from bed
3. Seeing my dog for the first time in the morning
4. Opening the fridge and finding a cold drink
5. Receiving a good morning text
6. Feeling the hot air when you land at your holiday destination
7. The smell of fresh coffee
8. The feeling of sand between my toes
9. People watching at airports
10. Watching rain splash against my window

It was very hard I found to pick those 10, I have so many small things that I love and appreciate about life. One of them being in nature (thats me in a sunflower field on the feature photo!) I think its so important that we find things in our days that we are thankful for, it can really put your life into perspective.

  1. Love your list! Most of them are on my list too!

    Additionally I’d add – 1. Listening to music to drone out all the noise after a long day. 2. Catching up with a friend after long and realising nothing has changed 3. (Pre corona days) The simple happiness from cancelling a plan and staying in bed in my PJs. ☺️

  2. I love these! It’s great to get back to basics and find the simplest pleasures in life. Mine are: my cats playing, my morning coffee, sunsets and sunrises, my nephew laughing, my sister and brother in law there for me. My other half washing up 😀

  7. I love the feel of sand between my toes, I love looking at the stars at night, I love watching the rain splashing on my window, I love the smell of new books, I love the cool evening breeze.
    I love so many little things that I can’t even mention all of them

  9. Loved your list. Mine simple pleasure is listening to music, reading something new, cooking, as well as walking in the evening time. Plus my most favorite simple pleasure is sipping hot tea. 😅

  10. Great list! I like most of them too, I’ll add some of mine: listening to music, hanging out with my friends and reading books, also my most favourite is going on walks or hiking whether it be morning or evening. Xx

  15. “The crack of thunder in the sky”… I’m not afraid of thunder but it just startles me sometimes. Glad you find it amusing though😅
    One of my simple pleasures is making sure I eat my food not earlier than the time span of a show I’m watching. ‘Cause I like eating and watching shows. The food must keep me company till it’s over😊😁

    1. I love the weather! Especially storms and things like that. We had really bad thunder where i live yesterday and it made me jump but i loved it 😆
      I love doing that too! Nothing better than having a good meal with your favourite show!

    My list :
    – Driving listening to my kind of music
    – getting that warm kuddle from my kids
    – cleaning the house and then enjoying the view of my clean room
    – taking off for a day from Offine to finish the season of my kind of web series ..
