Blogging Advice I’ve Learnt Whilst Blogging

Before I started a blog I didn’t really look or research what goes into it and didn’t seek much blogging advice. I just saw others doing it and thought “I want to do this too!”. Of course if you are considering starting a blog or have just started one, I’d recommend doing the opposite of what I did. Its always good to research anything before you do it, especially when it involves the internet.

Blogging advice can vary, what I think works for me and my blog might not be the same case for you or another blogger. We don’t all have the same audiences, we don’t all have the same opinions and preferences in style and colours. Everybody has different thoughts and processes they follow.

Relatable blog content can be defined as any content that the reader can relate to. Thats what I try to do with my own blogging content. I try to make sure that it’s a real life issue that people are going through, or that it’s something I would like to learn myself if I am providing tips and advice. I think it’s important as a writer to believe in what you are saying. How can I expect my readers to relate to something when I don’t even relate to it myself?

4 Advantages Of Taking A Blogging Break

Even the most successful people in the world need a break sometimes, and I’m here to tell you it’s okay to take a break. When I first started blogging again at the beginning of July 2020 I didn’t really give myself any break. I was publishing a new blog post every single day. Thats 7 posts a week. Which is insane to think about now.

I was so strict on myself in needing to keep posting to keep my audience engaged, and of course I now know that this isn’t the way it works. I created myself a blogging schedule and this helped me so much in knowing when my breaks were so I didn’t burn out. I thought I would share some benefits and importance that taking a blogging break can do. These points are helpful for blogging but can be applied any other area of your life where you feel like you need a break.
