Not only have our lives been flipped upside down, but I am sure many of us have deal with grief, depression and anxiety and so many other things. The last year has been such a struggle in many ways. Being isolated from our loved ones and having our daily routines thrown away. Having to adjust to our new normal has been a challenge.

I Had The Covid Vaccine & This is What Happened

All the talk around town seems to be about the Covid Vaccine, and for very good reason. It seems that half of the world wants it and half don’t trust it. When I first heard of the Covid vaccine I was a little suspicious of it. How can they develop a vaccine for a virus that is relatively new? How have they done it so quickly?

I said countless times that I wouldn’t get it if given the opportunity. But obviously as the title of this post suggests, I changed my mind. I did my own research and did what was best for me. And you should do the same. Don’t let the media or the people around you make the decision for you. Its your body so it should be your choice.

Mental health has always been a hot topic on the internet and generally in life. But due to the recent coronavirus pandemic it has become even more talked about, and rightly so. People are suffering even more than before, and people are finding it really difficult to get the help they need. The usual facilities or help lines are closed and people have been left jobless, even homeless with mental health problems. Yes we are currently experiencing a global pandemic of COVID, but I think we are also on the brink of a mental health pandemic too.

Advice For Starting a New Job During Covid

I’ve been working from home now since the 17th March this year. Thats almost 7 months of my home being work, and work being at my home. It was a weird transition at first but one I have come to appreciate. I get an extra 2 hours in bed, I don’t have to do a commute, finishing work doesn’t involve a train journey home. There are so many benefits, but with anything there are downsides too. The lack of social interaction with colleagues, not having a break between home life and work life, feeling like I must be available 24/7. But please know I am so grateful. Grateful that I have been able to work all throughout this pandemic, and that my job is secure.
