Its very rare that I share more personal posts on my blog, but I thought it was time to share something light hearted and share my biggest pet peeves in life. We all have those small annoying things that happen that just really set our anger off inside us. I cant even explain what it is, but its like a firework explodes inside me and I get filled with rage when people do things that annoy me. To be honest, I bet I do things that annoy other people all the time too!
If you’re unfamiliar with the term pet peeve then I’ll take a little time just to explain what it is. A pet peeve is when someone does something or something happens that really annoys you. Pet peeves are also commonly known as pet hates too. But, this thing that really gets on your nerves probably doesn’t annoy others. And thats what I love about humans, we are all created the same but we are all wired so differently when it comes to our minds.
So now you know what pet peeves are. I thought it would be fun to share some of mine, and see if we have matching pet hates! So let’s get started.
NOT CHANGING THE TOILET ROLL
Theres nothing more that annoys me when I go to use the bathroom and there is an empty toilet roll or none in there at all. I know I have done this before, but I have done it and never realised I used the last bit. There are people out there who do this and knowingly leave the empty toilet roll for the next person.
WHY!? Why would you do that to someone. Because now, the unsuspecting person has to yell to someone else to ask for more. It can be so embarrassing to have to ask for toilet roll whilst you’re using the bathroom. Please don’t do it!

NOSEY PEOPLE
Have you ever had someone friend you on Facebook that you went to high school with 10 years ago? Bear in mind you never spoke to this person or had any kind of relationship with them. This has happened to me countless times and it makes me so annoyed. I really dislike people who just want to be on your social media to be nosey and see what you’re up to. If we were not friends 10 years ago then we sure aren’t friends now.
I’m kind of ruthless when it comes to accepting and declining friend requests online. I’d rather keep my life private than have a bunch of random people snooping around to see what I’m doing.

COPYCATS
A topic I have spoken about recently on my blog. I really don’t like copy cats. And I will disagree with anyone who tries to tell me copycats are flattering. Imitation is not the highest form of flattery. Experiencing this first hand myself has meant I have really changed my attitude about copiers. Unfortunately there is alot of it in the blogging world.
Not only is it bad practice but its also rude. Do not ever copy anyone. Whether it’s in blogging or in real life. It can be hard to find your feet in anything you do. But trust the process and know you will find your own style soon enough.

PEOPLE EATING MY FOOD
Have you ever had leftovers in your fridge, and whilst you’re at work it’s all you think about? Coming home after a long day, to your lovely leftovers. And you come to realise that they have BEEN EATEN. Oh the rage I feel inside of me. How dare you eat my food?! The food I thought of all day long. And you ATE IT?! Theres nothing more that upsets me in this life than someone eating something I paid for.
Permission is a big thing for me. If you ask me, I will share anything with you. But if you take it without saying anything. It will make me very mad and very sad.

😂😂I think we relate in all..but there’s this thing about people dragging themselves just infront of you…or while in a supermarket queue and the person behind you squeezes to an extent that you’ll feel her body lean on yours..

Totally can relate to the nosey people. I have people who when I was little kid knew me from church trying to figure out and talk and still gossip about my life. It’s so weird and annoying. Currently one of my pet peeves is half listeners.

I absolutely hate nosey people too! They just come into your life when they want to know something. It’s pretty silly and annoying too.
I also don’t like loud people. Especially guys. At school, one time, the guys kept making so much noise that I had to tell the to keep it down.
It was super annoying to hear uncivilized voices roaring in the air.
The list is long but I’ll keep it this way, lol.
I get so irritated when the toilet paper isn’t put on the holder properly, like if it’s just sitting there with an empty roll under it. How hard is it to change the roll and place it properly???
My biggest pet peeve of all time is someone or following through with something after they said they would do said thing. And someone who cracks their knuckles. 😒
The first one! I have my own bathroom so I can only really get annoyed at myself 🙈 To remind me, I put a sticky note on the door but now it just lives there so is no help 😂 x
I can so relate to the toilet paper roll issue and people eating my food. It is very annoying when you have to use the toilet and suddenly discover there is no toilet paper, 😤! Put in a new roll when it is finished. 😡
Eating my food, after I have been fantasising about it all day, NO. That really makes me angry, esp when it is chocolate.
Other pet peeves are not putting down the toilet seat and not putting the mat back in place if you disturb it. 😤😠

Hi Olivia, please forgive me for this but while reading your post I couldn’t help but laugh 😂. I had experienced the same things for years in the past. Before becoming a Christian I had the worst temper. I would fly off the handle from A straight to Z, from one extreme to another all because of the same things as the toilet paper 🧻, the food situation. Oh, I have a good one for you. I am at the laundry mat when I was younger and this Russian woman emptied the dryer took my clothes out and placed her clothes in there to dry using my coins. I am there and she does this in front of me. I get so… angry that I take her clothes out, throw it on the floor and put my clothes bag in to dry and now I stand in front of the dryer guarding my clothes. She curses me out and makes a motion with her fingers indicating that she will shoot me. Little did she know I actually was packing. I smile at her and tell her go ahead. My boyfriend at the time was there and tells the woman “you don’t want to mess with her, you don’t know her, be careful if you value your life. You are messing with the wrong girl.” The woman goes to another dryer to dry her clothes. I had incident with people taking my parking space. As a Christian now I have a lot more patience thank God. I look back at what I used to be and I am not happy or proud about it. I am not that person anymore, God’s grace has changed my life.
Now recently I joined FB which I hate with a passion but I needed for the influenster and Instagram. I just recently received a free product to try so of course I have to write a review on this product. Well a family member who hates me, broke communication and hasn’t spoken to me in years, noticed I signed up. Send me a friend invite and my question is why? I admit that trouble me but I also know they just want it pry and see what I am up-to. I had no problems just declining the invite. Nice post I enjoyed reading this today, thanks for sharing.
People not having new toilet rolls there, definitely, but also people chewing really loudly and not washing their hands after using the bathroom.

So good! Eating my food is the worst. I have a special diet I follow because of my RA so it’s not like I can always replace it easily. Also people that talk loudly in restaurants. Use inside voices everyone:)

Oh my lanta! How hilarious is this. I loved every bit. I think the toilet paper roll is a big issue for a lot of people.
My pet peeves are 1) using the restroom anywhere but where you’re supposed to! I mean seriously, there is a hole that you target into. It’s not difficult. AND if you happen to dribble a little, please for the love of Pete, clean up after yourself. Someone else is coming in after you and they don’t need to sit or slip in any of it.
2) Can we just all agree that if the trash comes up to the top of the trash can, you take it out? And let’s not forget to put a new trash bag in. How often do we throw things away during the day?
3) This one always seemed strange to me, but if I see that your shirt tag hangs out to say hello, I have an urge to fight to tuck it back in. If I don’t know you, I’m less inclined.

A pet peeve of mine is when I am having a heartfelt conversation with someone and in the midst of it they just go not even bothering to reply to my 3 big paragraph of emotions. That so annoys me. It makes me so mad —I cant even!
Oh yessss this annoys me too! I hate feeling like I am not being heard or my emotions are not being heard. Isn’t it so upsetting?! And we can be best friends xx
Omg the food thing is so funny!!! I also don’t like it when my leftovers are eaten, especially since I generally save them because I enjoyed them! Otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten it or dished up in the first place. I can just imagine how hangry you get 😂😂😂

My family leave dishes just above the dishwasher like they’ve failed at the final hurdle and given up! Nothing more annoying than the toilet roll not being changed!

Okay but these are all valid lol. I have a super sensory overload when it comes to sounds. Some sounds just make me rage for some reason lol and it’s just been like that my whole life! It’s so weird!
Yup, that toilet paper pet peeve is so right! Also leaving clothes in the dryer so no one else can use it! 😡
Coming home to find someone has eaten your food is bad enough, having someone steal your lunch at work is the pinnacle of rage inducing.
