How To De-Stress Your Stress

[Guest Post]

Hi everyone, I’m Shelly, an obsessive millennial that gets anxious with anything and everything. Ok that was a bit of an exaggeration, but it is how I feel at the moment. Most people have enjoyed the slowdown that came along with the COVID-19 pandemic and to be honest, I did too… Until I decided to take on blogging full time while working as an essential worker and raising a busy toddler. Don’t worry, this post isn’t a pity party- I’m very happy with everything I have chosen to do which you can read all about on GrowingWithSpawn.com. As overwhelming as it is, I do love my three jobs – yes, three, because that is what it feels like. So today, I’m here to share with you a few tips and tricks that I have learned to de-stress that stress.

FITNESS, TRAINING & WORKING OUT

These three things sometimes seem to intimidate people. People often don’t have the confidence to walk into a gym or take a fitness class, maybe because they’ve never been to a gym before. Remember the gym is more than just a place to pose in-front of a mirror for a Instagram selfie. The gym can be used as an escape from reality, an escape from their crappy job with a boss that doesn’t appreciate them, or even a place to socialise with friends.

10 Habits to Help You Grow a More Positive Mindset

10 Habits to Help You Grow a More Positive Mindset

As summer is slowly fading away, and the days get shorter and the nights get longer, I know how hard it can be to keep a positive mindset. If you’re anything like me, I thrive in the summer months. I love the brightness, the sun and everything Spring and Summer brings. As soon as it gets to Autumn and Winter I become unmotivated, my mood decreases and I overall just am not my best self.

4 Tips That Will Teach You To Stop Hating Mondays

It’s a known fact that most people in the world hate Mondays. Monday signifies the end of the weekend, the start of a new working week, and 5 more days till the weekend. How I Survived a Seven Day Digital Detox And What I Learnt From It

[Guest Post]

Answer this before you read on – When did you first check your phone today?

Hi! My name is Pranjali Jain, from Dainty Palms. I write about mental health and lifestyle- trying to inspire others and myself to be the best possible version of ourselves. Today I am going to share my experience and the importance of digital detox with y’all. Thank you, Olivia, for the opportunity to bring this forward!

A week ago, I did a seven-day long digital detox, wherein I shut my social media handles and my blog for a break. The pressure of posting anything, replying, and being active was too much to handle. And I think I am not the only one to face this. So, if your answer to the question was close to “within an hour of waking up”, you probably need a digital detox.

How to Successfully Reduce Your Screen Time and The Benefits of Doing It

A resolution I had for this year was to be more present in the moment and spend less time on electronic devices. Today we’ll go through some tips on how to reduce your screen time and be more present in the moment.
