How To Get People More Sustainably-Minded

The hardest thing about teaching the benefits of sustainability is that people decide to not engage with the subject. To Blog or Not To Blog

To Blog or Not To Blog

To blog or not to blog, thats the statement thats been circling around my mind for the last few months. I have ran this blog now for nearly 2 years. July is my 2nd blogging anniversary. It’s crazy to think how this blog helped me during the pandemic and really gave me such a great focus during that time. I look back on my blogging journey and remember all of the amazing opportunities I have had during the last 2 years. The friends I’ve met, the companies I’ve worked with and the amazing reader/follower base I have grown. I’m truly so grateful for this platform I have built.

5 Signs It’s Time To Take a Blogging Break

5 Signs It’s Time To Take a Blogging Break

There have been many times on my blogging journey that I have felt its time to take a blogging break. And each time I feel it, I do it. If you’re an outsider looking in, you won’t know the ins and outs of what it takes to be a blogger. It’s much more than just writing and uploading. It’s about the admin that comes with it. However, like any job you need time off.

I wasn’t going out anywhere, or seeing friends or family. So being able to connect and create a space on the internet was something I really enjoyed about starting my blog.

4 Ways I Deal With Blogging Comparison

Blogging comparison is something that can really consume us bloggers at various times. Comparison in general to anyone can be really disheartening. It can leave you feeling upset, and inferior at times. We have all been there though, and have felt those feelings of comparison, especially if you’re a new blogger.

My One Year Blogging Anniversary

My One Year Blogging Anniversary

I can’t quite believe that Olivia Lucie Blake has turned one and its my one year blogging anniversary. Coming back to blogging after having almost 4 years away from this site, I had no idea what I was coming back to. If you are unsure of my blogging journey story, my blog was originally called Diadem of Beauty. With my main goal of wanting to share about beauty and hair products for all different races and hair types. I blogged on this topic for about a year. I didn’t see much growth in that year, as I was so inconsistent and realised that I had created such a small niche in my content. Slowly realising that I had lost my passion, the posts were few and far between and thats when I gave up.
