Over the last few months I have shared some of my journey to becoming a healthier me, and I wanted to continue sharing updates and inspiration for you all. My journey has now nearly come to half a year, which is so crazy to think about. I started this journey the first week of April, and now we are in August. I remember counting down the days and thinking, one step closer to being where I want to be. And now here we are, 5 months in and I am feeling better than ever.
Read moreHow to Effectively Manage Your Finances
From a very young age, it’s so important that you learn how to manage your finances. Having money is a really big responsibility. It’s sad that alot of parents and schools fail to provide young people with the knowledge they need to learn how to properly manage their finances. It’s obviously not something you have to worry about as a young adult, but as soon as you get a job you need to know how to do it.
Read moreShowing Your True Emotions is Okay & Here Is Why
Being quiet is not always a good idea, showing your true emotions is. Nobody knows how you feel if you don’t speak for yourself. As Johnny Depp said, “People who cry are not weak. They are just tired of being strong.” If you cry, you’re not a kid. If you get angry, you’re not a psycho. If you are sorry for something then you’re not a loser. I was sat thinking about this, and then slowly came to the realisation that so many people don’t have those friends or family members to lean on in hard times. Don’t get me wrong, I never ever take it for granted, but this realisation made me appreciate those in my life a little bit more.
