Weird Things That Have Happened to Me as A Blogger

Weird Things That Have Happened to Me as A Blogger

The world is full of weird people who do weird things. As bloggers we are somewhat open to the weirdos of the world attracting themselves to us. When you post about your life or put information about yourself on the internet you’re bound to attract some weird people into your space. I had no idea that being a blogger would almost make me open and accessible to whoever, whenever. Its really scary if you think about it too hard. But I know one thing for sure. That the internet has no shortage of weird people.

How to Break Out of a Creative Slump

How to Break Out of a Creative Slump

I don’t know about you, but recently I have been in the worst creative slump. I’ve found it so hard to focus and get creative on my blog. And it’s truly one of the most frustrating things. I can’t even imagine how hard it is for people who blog as their full time job and feel like this. Because it’s either they suck it up and figure it out or they don’t make money. I’m sure so many of you will relate to the way I am feeling, and I know I’m not alone in feeling like this.

I know alot of external factors can affect creativity. I mean just take a look at the world right now, thats enough to ruin anyones creativity. Mental health also plays a big part in this too, and just general wellbeing. When everything in your life is properly aligned, then so will your thinking.

5 Must Have Tools For Blogging

Finding the right tools for blogging is so important, for so many different reasons. When you first start blogging you’re really doing whatever you can and not really understanding anything you’re doing. But, don’t worry, we have all been there! There are so many different tools and resources available to you to help make your blog better and writing easier. It should have been one of the first things I did, because it’s that important.

4 Tips For Managing Pandemic Anxiety

4 Tips For Managing Pandemic Anxiety

I never thought in my life that I would be writing a post about pandemic anxiety. Much like everyone else in the world, this pandemic came as a surprise. I remember first hearing about the coronavirus, and hearing that it was only in China and it wasn’t something we should worry about here in the UK. Then each week, heck even each day it seemed to get closer and closer to home. The period between it being discovered in China and it hitting England wasn’t too long. Of course during this time, we were all glued to the news and our phones checking updates.

How to Support Your Favourite Bloggers

How to Support Your Favourite Bloggers

Showing support to your favourite bloggers is so important. We really appreciate and love being shown love and support from our readers. The main thing that keeps me going and keeps me posting is the love I have for my readers. My blog would be nowhere without you. You really are so important to bloggers and keep our motivation up. It took me way too long when I first started my blogging journey to understand and realise the importance of blogging friends and community. But now I am more of an experienced blogger, I understand the need to have that support system.

I realise that there might be new bloggers or supporters out there who maybe don’t know how or what to do, to best support bloggers. So I thought it would be a nice idea to give some guidance on what to do and what not to do.

17 Blog Post Ideas Your Readers Will Love

17 Blog Post Ideas Your Readers Will Love

Coming up with new and fresh blog post ideas on a regular basis can be so hard. Writers block can strike at any moment and all of a sudden your creativity goes out the window. I remember when I was first finding my feet at blogging, I really relied on other bloggers posts sharing content ideas. Thats a main reason as to why I love this community so much. We are constantly looking out for one another. It can be really hard to stick to a blogging schedule and find inspiration at times when other things are going on in life. Your blog can’t and isn’t always the number one priority.

What I Do Every week To Maintain and Run My Blog

What I Do Every week To Maintain and Run My Blog

There are so many steps that are involved in order for me to maintain and run my blog. Before coming back to blogging and previously, I didn’t know that running a blog would be like having a full time job. I really underestimated the time and effort that goes into it and I’m not sure I would have started my blog back up if I’d had known. Don’t get me wrong, I love blogging but I don’t love some of the tedious tasks that happen behind the scenes. It’s like a tv show. The viewer only sees the final, polished version and they don’t get to see the people running around like headless chickens making it happen.

Not Everybody Is Going to Like You

Not Everybody Is Going to Like You

Not everybody is going to like you, and you know that? I accept that. We live in a world where there are so many people living to please others. So many people go out of their way to make others happy. We often forget that actually our purpose is not to serve others or be liked by others. If you’re a person who follows a faith or a God then you know that you have a purpose set before you by your creator. We all have a purpose and one of them is not to make sure that other people like us.

The Truth About Bloggers

The Truth About Bloggers

As bloggers we are constantly messing up and doing the wrong things. I have spoken openly about my blogging mistakes in the past and will be the first to hold my hands up to a mistake I have made. We are not perfect, and none of us have ever claimed to be either. But something I am noticing quite often recently in the blogging community, are bloggers who just get it wrong. Whether it’s the advice they share or the way they speak to their readers. There is this increase of bad advice and no thought going into posts and I’m sure I’m not the only one who has seen this happening either.

Blogging Friends and Why We Need Them

Blogging Friends and Why We Need Them

Something I wish I had learnt earlier on in my blogging journey is how much I needed blogging friends. I think alot of us when we first start out blogging just do whatever. Which is expected, because when you go into something blindly you don’t really know the right or wrongs. I don’t know about you, but I did zero research before starting my blog. I just found WordPress, entered my details and created my site. Without actually thinking about the stuff I needed to do, in order to achieve my goals.
