Welcome to part 2 of my bedroom transformation! Thanks so much for the love on Part 1. It’s something different than I’m used to posting about but I’m so glad all of my readers are enjoying it. Part 2 focuses on the desk area which is my favourite transformation! All the links for the items shown will be listed at the end of the blog.
Originally my desk space was placed directly opposite the end of my bed against the outside wall of my house. It worked for a while and it was this way for a few years or so, until recently when I changed it to how it is now.
This is what my desk space looks like currently. It got updated and moved around when COVID hit, as my work place has advised we will be working from home for a while, so I wanted to make sure my work space was comfortable and just how I wanted it.
The desk is the Micke Desk from Ikea £70. It has a lot of storage with one large drawer across the front and another to the left. Directly underneath the left drawer is a cupboard with 3 shelves and plenty of space. I love this desk but it does mark easily as its white. Some of the paint has come away from it, but I think that’s probably my own fault for not being careful enough.
The different decorations I have are all from various places such as Ikea, Marks and Spencer,Amazon and Primark. I will link as much as I can below. The photos above my computer are from Desino, they have so many beautiful and different prints to choose from.
