With Covid restrictions becoming looser and more people being able to socialise again, I thought I would share some of my best party planning tips for re-scheduling those events that you missed out on. Covid really ruined so many big days for alot of people. Weddings, birthday parties, graduations and so much more. Here in the UK almost all covid restrictions are now lifted, which means that all of these celebrations can now resume!
So, what better time than now to share some of my fave party planning tips! Over the last 2 years, I have had, and helped plan a couple of get togethers. It’s something that I really love doing and have such a passion for. I love seeing visions and ideas come to life, and its really turning into something I have such a passion for.
HIRE ENTERTAINMENT
One of the best things during this pandemic is that companies have adapted to the times. Before the pandemic, almost everything was in person. And now that isn’t an option still for some, companies are now offering entertainment in person AND online. How amazing is that? I think one great thing that has come from the pandemic is how adaptable we are now. We should have had virtual opportunities years ago. And being stuck at home has meant that companies have needed to still make money
Booking entertainment is so easy now, and can be done with just a click of a button. Considering hiring a singer or a comedian for your next girls night or family gathering!

LET PINTEREST HELP
I don’t know about you, but any time I need help or inspiration for party planning the first place I go to is Pinterest. It really has everything you need. Colour combo ideas, party hacks and tricks and just generally every party theme you have ever thought of.
Most of my party ideas have come from Pinterest, and I am not ashamed to say that. Even their party food ideas are great and often I find new recipes that I never would have considered before.

PLAN ON A BUDGET
When planning a party always have a budget in mind. It can be so easy to get carried away with ideas and things you want to do. And it all adds up. Make sure you set aside a budget for each part of your party planning. Have a budget for food, decorations and party favours. And whatever is left, feel free to save it or use it on something else.
Having a clear idea of what you want and doing research really helps to set your own expectations on cost.
