There have been many times on my blogging journey that I have felt its time to take a blogging break. And each time I feel it, I do it. If you’re an outsider looking in, you won’t know the ins and outs of what it takes to be a blogger. It’s much more than just writing and uploading. It’s about the admin that comes with it. The promotion on social media, and the building connections with brands and other bloggers. It’s really a full time job, and something I wouldn’t trade for the world. However, like any job you need time off.

What do you enjoy most about blogging? Is it the freedom to say what you want online? Being able to share your own personal stories or work? What is it about blogging that keeps you coming back? I have always wondered what motives people have behind wanting to blog. For me, it was something to do during the height of the pandemic. I needed a focus and something to fill my time. I wasn’t going out anywhere, or seeing friends or family. So being able to connect and create a space on the internet was something I really enjoyed about starting my blog.

Read moreThe Best Way to Bulk Write Your Blog Content
When I first started blogging I had no idea what it was to bulk write content. I tended to just write as I went and even sometimes write my posts on the day before posting. Bulk writing was something I looked into months down the line and its the strategy and way I have been creating content for my blog for months now. With my main goal of wanting to share about beauty and hair products for all different races and hair types. I blogged on this topic for about a year. I didn’t see much growth in that year, as I was so inconsistent and realised that I had created such a small niche in my content. Slowly realising that I had lost my passion, the posts were few and far between and thats when I gave up.
