The Future of Blogging

The Future of Blogging

Blogging is something that changes all of the time. Even when I started blogging again back in July 2020, I have noticed such a change from then to now. I hear conversations on a regular basis on whether or not blogging is going to grow in popularity, or plummet. All because people are now seeking quick and snappy content like Tik Tok and Instagram reels.

It’s and interesting conversation to have, which is why you’re reading this post. I want to hear your thoughts on what you think the future of blogging will look like.

How to Make Your Blog Stand Out From the Crowd

How to Make Your Blog Stand Out From the Crowd

In today’s digital age, businesses need to have an online presence in order to stay relevant and compete with their rivals. One way to do this is by starting a blog. But with over 600 million blogs currently on the internet (and counting!), how can you make sure that yours stand out from the rest?

Choosing Happiness

Choosing Happiness

Something I have begun to learn as I’ve gotten older is that happiness comes and goes. It’s not achievable for us to be in a state of happy all the time. Nor would I want to be. Happiness can come and go, it’s more of a fleeting emotion than one that remains. Once I learnt this, I came to realise how in reality we can choose when and if to be happy.

5 Lessons I’ve Learnt In The Last 2 Years of Blogging

5 Lessons I’ve Learnt In The Last 2 Years of Blogging

The last 2 years of blogging have been the fastest 2 years of my life. When I first started this blog during the pandemic, I had no idea it would become such a large part of my everyday life. Some wouldn’t see 2 years of blogging as such a big achievement, but I think back to when I first started. All of the trials and lessons I learnt as a new blogger, I can see how far I have come and that alone is such a big accomplishment for me.

Content Creators & Their Addictions

Content Creators & Their Addictions

Whether we want to admit it or not, alot of content creators are addicted to what they do. Especially bloggers. When you create content and put it out there for the world to see, review and critique it can be a scary thing. To Blog or Not To Blog

To Blog or Not To Blog

To blog or not to blog, thats the statement thats been circling around my mind for the last few months. I have ran this blog now for nearly 2 years. July is my 2nd blogging anniversary. It’s crazy to think how this blog helped me during the pandemic and really gave me such a great focus during that time. I look back on my blogging journey and remember all of the amazing opportunities I have had during the last 2 years. The friends I’ve met, the companies I’ve worked with and the amazing reader/follower base I have grown. I’m truly so grateful for this platform I have built.

Picking Yourself Back Up

Picking Yourself Back Up

Often the thought of picking yourself back up after going through something tough is hard. The last thing you want to do is all of the things you used to love. Whenever I’m going through something, its the things I love doing that are the first to go.

Going through a hard time can really make you want to give up and not try again. We have all been there, you may even be there right now. Sometimes it can feel helpless no matter what the situation is. I don’t know what you’re going through, and I may even be preaching to myself here. But you will pick yourself back up, and things will get easier for you.

Will Blogging Still Be Relevant In 2022?

Will Blogging Still Be Relevant In 2022?

Will blogging still be relevant in 2022? I am here to make some 2022 predictions for blogging. In 2020 and 2021 we saw a surge of people joining blogging platforms as a way of escapism – me being one of them. My blogging journey began in July 2020, right in the middle of a long lockdown in the UK. It became such a big distraction from what was going on in the world, and at times it still is.

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome as a Blogger

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome as a Blogger

Whether you realise it or not, at some point you will have suffered from imposter syndrome as a blogger. It might not have been obvious at the time, but I bet when you read this post you’ll be thinking “wow, this is me.’ Impostor syndrome is something I didn’t even know about myself until a few months ago. And after some research, I came to realise its quite common in various different aspects of life.

There have been countless times I have told myself I can’t do something, or I’m not good enough. Which we know is not true and is just a feeling. But having these feelings can really get in the way of success and us growing as people and bloggers.
