We have all heard people calling themselves introverted or extrovert, but I haven’t ever heard about those who are both. What cool name shall we call ourselves? An Introextrovert? Please feel free to help me think of a name. I’m open to suggestions. I feel like I’m not alone in feeling like I am both. I have heard of other people who cant put themselves into either introverted or extrovert. There is this grey area between them both and I feel like thats where I sit.Read more
Do you ever find yourself in situations saying it is what it is? I find myself saying this when I get let down or if plans don’t play out like I thought they would. I mean the whole of 2020 was a big it is what it is wasn’t it? Because of the year we had in 2020 I think we all have this mentality now to some extent. One thing I really dislike about society now-a-days is how it makes you feel bad. It makes you feel bad if you’re not slim enough, if you don’t earn X amount of money etc. Society makes you feel you’re not successful or you’re behind everyone else if you’re going at a different pace. At some point in our lives we have all experienced self-doubt. A time where we have caught ourselves saying ‘I can’t do this‘. A few examples of when you might experience self doubt are when you are going for a job interview, when you meet new people or when you are starting a new hobby. Self-doubt is something that often comes with romantic relationships too.Read more
I have suffered with anxiety for most of my adult life,. It’s something I’ve learnt to live with and I know others who suffer from it feel that way too. People who suffer with mental illnesses can seem fine and dandy on the outside but only they know what’s going on, in the inside.
I saw my friend Niraj post recently about anxiety, and it was like he was speaking to his anxiety like it was a person. I like the idea of facing it head on like its a friend or an enemy in my case. The idea seemed so good so I thought I’d take my own spin on it and write my own open letter to my anxiety.Read more
