Coming up with new and fresh blog post ideas on a regular basis can be so hard. Writers block can strike at any moment and all of a sudden your creativity goes out the window. I remember when I was first finding my feet at blogging, I really relied on other bloggers posts sharing content ideas. Thats a main reason as to why I love this community so much. We are constantly looking out for one another. It can be really hard to stick to a blogging schedule and find inspiration at times when other things are going on in life. Your blog can’t and isn’t always the number one priority.

Being an authentic blogger in a world full of fake online lives can be difficult. It’s not easy to feel like you can be yourself when we are constantly told that we should be a certain way to be liked. Authenticity can be really hard to come by, especially when it comes to relationships and on social media. Everyone loves to put on this persona online, and its one that I will not get behind. Being an authentic blogger is something I have grown to learn. When I first started back to blogging I found it hard to open up to my readers. I still keep alot of my life private, but choose to share the vulnerable parts of me in hopes that it will help others.
Read moreThe Truth About Bloggers
As bloggers we are constantly messing up and doing the wrong things. I have spoken openly about my blogging mistakes in the past and will be the first to hold my hands up to a mistake I have made. We are not perfect, and none of us have ever claimed to be either. But something I am noticing quite often recently in the blogging community, are bloggers who just get it wrong. Whether it’s the advice they share or the way they speak to their readers. There is this increase of bad advice and no thought going into posts and I’m sure I’m not the only one who has seen this happening either.

Something I wish I had learnt earlier on in my blogging journey is how much I needed blogging friends. I think alot of us when we first start out blogging just do whatever. Which is expected, because when you go into something blindly you don’t really know the right or wrongs. I don’t know about you, but I did zero research before starting my blog. Protecting your privacy is something you should do regardless of whether you’re a blogger or not. Having a private life is a happy life. Nobody knows your wins, nobody knows your losses. How blissful does that sound? As bloggers we really do put ourselves out there. Some of us share personal things, health struggles, financial issues and even the family problems we face. This really opens us up to criticism and judgement from people on the internet.
I have had faced some instances in life where people have tried to find out things about me when I don’t know them. Thankfully this has never happened to me since I have started blogging. But, thats mainly because I have set those privacy boundaries that not many people can cross. You may not realise it yet, but blogging really makes you visible to the world. I mean, I share my whole name for the world to see. I show my face on my blog and Instagram. People know who I am and know my name. Thankfully thats it though and thats about as much as I let people know.
