What To Do When Your Blog Stats Get Low

What To Do When Your Blog Stats Get Low

If you were to ask any blogger that the main concern they have of their blog, 9 times out of ten they’d reply something to do with there blog stats. And I probably would too. Bloggers worry about anything and everything to do with their blogs. Sometimes we tend to worry too much. As a blogger I know that alot of our ‘success’ comes down to how many followers we have, or how many likes, views and comments our posts get. And when these numbers get low, it’s easy for us to become discouraged.

4 Tips For Managing Pandemic Anxiety

4 Tips For Managing Pandemic Anxiety

I never thought in my life that I would be writing a post about pandemic anxiety. Much like everyone else in the world, this pandemic came as a surprise. I remember first hearing about the coronavirus, and hearing that it was only in China and it wasn’t something we should worry about here in the UK. Then each week, heck even each day it seemed to get closer and closer to home. The period between it being discovered in China and it hitting England wasn’t too long. Of course during this time, we were all glued to the news and our phones checking updates.

How To Be An Authentic Blogger

How To Be An Authentic Blogger

Being an authentic blogger in a world full of fake online lives can be difficult. It’s not easy to feel like you can be yourself when we are constantly told that we should be a certain way to be liked. Authenticity can be really hard to come by, especially when it comes to relationships and on social media. Everyone loves to put on this persona online, and its one that I will not get behind. Being an authentic blogger is something I have grown to learn. When I first started back to blogging I found it hard to open up to my readers. I still keep alot of my life private, but choose to share the vulnerable parts of me in hopes that it will help others.

The Truth About Bloggers

The Truth About Bloggers

As bloggers we are constantly messing up and doing the wrong things. I have spoken openly about my blogging mistakes in the past and will be the first to hold my hands up to a mistake I have made. We are not perfect, and none of us have ever claimed to be either. But something I am noticing quite often recently in the blogging community, are bloggers who just get it wrong. Whether it’s the advice they share or the way they speak to their readers. There is this increase of bad advice and no thought going into posts and I’m sure I’m not the only one who has seen this happening either.

Having an email list is one of the most important things you need to do if you have a blog. How to Cope With Online Negativity

Online negativity is something we will all go through if we find ourselves on the internet for long enough. Naturally, with positive things there are always negatives. We can’t always expect things to be peachy all of the time. There are mean, nasty and negative people out there who want to cause you distress and make you unhappy and thats the reality of life.

Thankfully, I’ve only ever encountered a handful of mean people online. I know this isn’t the experience alot of people have and for that I am thankful.

How To Blog When You’ve Hit a Wall

How To Blog When You’ve Hit a Wall

It’s a very common thing to hit a blog wall, and it can happen alot if we aren’t careful. Sometimes we just get to a point where we can’t do it anymore. I’ve felt this over the last few months. I have noticed my motivation and desire to blog has been overshadowed by other things going on in my personal life. Its taken my attention away from blogging and made me feel like putting less effort into my blogs.
