My Biggest Blogging Regrets

My Biggest Blogging Regrets

When I first started blogging, I never thought I would have blogging regrets. I remember seeing posts similar to this one, where bloggers talked about everything that went wrong in their first few months of blogging. I didn’t see myself doing anything wrong or wishing I had done things differently. But here we are! I guess with anything you do in life, naturally there are things you regret. I wouldn’t change anything about what’s happened on my blogging journey. But there are for sure some things I wish I could avoided in the process.

{AD} Being bored in lockdown has given me so much more time to do blogging related lockdown activities. 3 Tips For Improving Your Digital Branding

3 Tips For Improving Your Digital Branding

{AD} When it comes to any online content, digital branding is really what will set you apart from the rest. Think about what draws you in and makes you want to click onto a website, it’s the branding, the colours and the text fonts. As much as content is important, the branding has a role to play too. And it’s important to mention that you should be updating and replacing your branding as you grow as a creator.

I completely re-branded my blog in July and have changed my branding several times since then. As you grow as a creator and a person, your style changes and your preferences change too. I always advise other content creators to update and change the themes of their blogs regularly. It’s a great marketing strategy and helps you to keep up with the every changing pace of the internet.

Letting Go of Whats Not Meant For You

Letting Go of Whats Not Meant For You

Letting go and holding onto things that are not longer for us, can be draining emotionally and physically. I’ve been through this so many times when it comes to friendships, relationships, job promotions, you name it. Its funny because we often realise and know its no longer for us, yet we hold onto it with everything we have inside of us. We try to make it work, because we think it’s what is meant for us. When reality is, if everything around is you telling you it’s not for you. Then it’s probably not for you. I don’t know what it is that you’re holding onto, but I am right there with you.

How to Not Feel Overwhelmed as a New Blogger

I remember like it was yesterday when I was a new blogger, I felt so overwhelmed at everything there is to learn that it made me feel very anxious. It can be hard navigating blogging with all the other things going on in life.

3 Stereotypical Assumptions People Have of Me

3 Stereotypical Assumptions People Have of Me

Whether you mean to or not, we all make assumptions about people we meet. We judge their looks, their style choices and the way they carry themselves. And then we make an assumption on their character and who they are as we get to know them. Alot of the time people don’t do this to be mean or nasty to others. It’s human nature and often we can’t help ourselves. It can take alot of time and effort to re-wire our brains into not doing this.
