4 Ways to Better Understand Your Blog Audience

4 Ways to Better Understand Your Blog Audience

One of the most important things about blogging is your blog audience. Without your audience your blog won’t get to where you want it to go. You essentially rely on strangers to read and interact with your content in order for your blog to be grow and flourish. It’s a weird concept if you think about it too much. As a blogger you rely heavily on your blog audience to interact and share your content, but with that its up to us (as bloggers) to try to understand our audiences a little better.

It’s nearly 2021 which means we all need some 2021 blog post ideas! Being a blogger is like having a full time job. The writing really only takes up 30% of the work. So I thought why not start the year off right with some blog post ideas. It’s been a while since I’ve done this, so thought it was time I shared some more.

Twenty Things I’m Thankful For in 2020

Twenty Things I’m Thankful For in 2020

Looking back at 2020, I admit we have had it pretty rough. It’s been anything but normal for us. When I turned 25 this year I swore it would be the best year of my life. My favourite number is 25, so I always said that year would be a year I wouldn’t forget. And I wasn’t wrong, but its unforgettable for all of the wrong reasons.

The Christmas Tag

The Christmas Tag

When searching for Blogmas post inspiration I stumbled across Laurenyloves, and a few years ago she posted the Christmas tag. I had never heard of it before so thought it would make a great addition to my blogmas posts as its all about Christmas (duh). The Christmas tag works like any other blogging tag, you answer pre-set questions and share the answers with your followers/readers.

Once you have read the responses, if you feel lead then please do this yourself too! I wont be tagging anyone as I think it will be quite short notice to get it done before the holiday season is over. But if you want to do it, then please do! Just tag Lauren as thats where I got the post questions from.

Lets get started!

Blogging Mistakes I’ve Made so You Don’t Have to

Blogging Mistakes I’ve Made so You Don’t Have to

When it comes to blogging I have made my fair share of blogging mistakes, but honestly I think we all have. Sometimes I don’t even know if I’d call them mistakes. Because I learnt something from each of them. Let’s rebrand mistakes as ‘lessons learnt’. It sounds alot better.

I’ve posted alot of content this year, and along the way have had many lessons learnt moments. And for todays blog I’ll be going through some of them. I want to do this so that you can learn from the blogging mistakes that I’ve made. And so you can make sure you don’t make the same mistakes I did. Its so easy to fall into bad habits, and it’s easy to make mistakes without even realising.

Why I Don’t Set New Year’s Resolutions

Why I Don’t Set New Year’s Resolutions

Without fail towards the end of December, we always hear the words ‘New Year’s resolutions’ being thrown around in conversations. It’s something thats talked about alot, and I’d really love to know where and who started this mess. When I was younger my resolutions was always to lose weight and get healthy, and always without fail I’d give up after a few weeks.

Perhaps thats why I’m not a fan of them. Because every time I have tried, I have failed. So really I don’t see the point because I know I will just fail it again. Why do we love to set ourselves up for failure? Why do we wait for a new year to make changes. It’s the same as “I’ll start on Monday” , which never works. I have never really been a fan of New Years resolutions, just purely for the fact that a new year doesn’t just wipe the slate clean. If you want to make changes then do it now rather than later.

December Degusta Subscription Box Review

December Degusta Subscription Box Review

If you didn’t already know, I’m very much a snack lover, which is why I’m so happy I have got the chance to try Desgusta box this month! When the box of goodies turned up at my door I couldn’t contain my excitement. Snacks are perfect for any time of the day. Don’t want a big breakfast? Grab a snack. Feeling peck-ish in-between meals? Grab a snack! There is just something so comforting about having snacks in the house as and when you need them.

This is my first time trying a snack subscription box service before and was so pleased when I received my box full of goodies from Degusta box. The box was filled to the brim with goodies and I was pleasantly surprised to see that this months box was in partnership with Sainsbury’s. Which is good to know, because there are for some some items in there that I want to go and purchase again.

7 Signs You’re Addicted to Blogging

7 Signs You’re Addicted to Blogging

We all have things we are addicted to in life. But one thing us bloggers have in common is that we are all probably addicted blogging. Whether we realise it or not. Well, hate to say it folks, you probably are! Don’t worry though, this is a safe space for you to admit it. We’re all here for you! The first step to overcoming it is to admit it!

Blogging addiction is real and very present in alot of bloggers lives. Now there are worse things to be addicted to [obviously] but that doesn’t mean its a good addiction to have. If its interrupting your life and having more of a negative impact on your mood then its time I’d say to re-evaluate what you’re doing.

Dear Future Self, I Hope You’re Well

Dear Future Self, I Hope You’re Well

Talking to my future self on my blog was never something I saw myself doing. And to be honest its quite out of the ordinary for me to think forward. I’m more of a let’s look at how far we have come than let’s see how far we still have to go. As I get older I’m constantly recognising things about myself I want to change and evolve.

I think it’s good to always be changing, as long as its for the better. People often get so offended when others say “You’ve changed”, but not me. I take that as a compliment. Why would I want to be the same person they knew 5 years ago? I think it’s such a privilege in life to be evolving into a better person, I don’t know about you but I don’t want to remain the same.
