10 Things I’ve Learnt In My Twenties

[Guest Post]

Hello everyone it’s me, Shayla from thedailyshayla.com. If you don’t know anything about me, I’m a 22 year old mother from the UK with a lot to say (hey that rhymes!).
I am so happy to be collaborating with Olivia on my first guest post! We have come together and created an awesome list of 10 things we have learnt in our twenties!
Over here on Olivia’s blog, down below, you can read my list of the top 5 lessons I have learnt. Then once you’ve finished reading that, you can pop over to my blog and read Olivia’s list too, how cool is that!?

How To De-Stress Your Stress

How To De-Stress Your Stress

[Guest Post]

Hi everyone, I’m Shelly, an obsessive millennial that gets anxious with anything and everything. Ok that was a bit of an exaggeration, but it is how I feel at the moment. Most people have enjoyed the slowdown that came along with the COVID-19 pandemic and to be honest, I did too… Until I decided to take on blogging full time while working as an essential worker and raising a busy toddler. Don’t worry, this post isn’t a pity party- I’m very happy with everything I have chosen to do which you can read all about on GrowingWithSpawn.com. As overwhelming as it is, I do love my three jobs – yes, three, because that is what it feels like. I’ve spent the last few months searching for ways to make sure that I am able to dedicate enough time to each of my jobs without getting burnt out. So today, I’m here to share with you a few tips and tricks that I have learned to de-stress that stress.

Mental health is not black and white. There are so many different factors and things that effect different people. Some things that affect my mental health might not affect yours and vice vice versa. One thing that really has an effect on my mental health is my living space. I have spoken about this before in a previous post, where I talked about how to create a calm space in your home. To me, my living space is a reflection on how im feeling and doing mentally. If its a mess then usually my head is also a mess. Today were going to be talking about how the design of your home can affect your mental health and what we can do to combat this.

Sweetening our selves for some other person’s taste can often be tempting, especially when we are romantically interested in them. 10 Habits to Help You Grow a More Positive Mindset

10 Habits to Help You Grow a More Positive Mindset

As summer is slowly fading away, and the days get shorter and the nights get longer, I know how hard it can be to keep a positive mindset. If you’re anything like me, I thrive in the summer months. I love the brightness, the sun and everything Spring and Summer brings. As soon as it gets to Autumn and Winter I become unmotivated, my mood decreases and I overall just am not my best self.

How to Make Your Blog Posts More Relatable

How to Make Your Blog Posts More Relatable

Relatable blog content can be defined as any content that the reader can relate to. Thats what I try to do with my own blogging content. I try to make sure that it’s a real life issue that people are going through, or that it’s something I would like to learn myself if I am providing tips and advice. I think it’s important as a writer to believe in what you are saying. How can I expect my readers to relate to something when I don’t even relate to it myself?
