Something I wish I had learnt earlier on in my blogging journey is how much I needed blogging friends. I think alot of us when we first start out blogging just do whatever. Which is expected, because when you go into something blindly you don’t really know the right or wrongs. I don’t know about you, but I did zero research before starting my blog. I just found WordPress, entered my details and created my site. Without actually thinking about the stuff I needed to do, in order to achieve my goals.
Making friends was the last thing on my mind when I started my blog, but really it should have been. One of the biggest blessings from blogging has been the connections I have been lucky enough to make with people. People who I would never have had the chance to meet in real life. Blogging not only helps you in your life, but it gives you the opportunities to reach and help so many other people around the world.
In today’s post I want to share a few reasons with you of why I think blogging friends are important and why we need them!
THEY WILL BECOME YOUR SUPPORT SYSTEM
Believe it or not, you’ll need a support system whilst blogging. It sounds a bit weird if you’re an outsider looking in doesn’t it? Why would bloggers possibly need a support system? Well let me tell you, blogging is no walk in the park. There have been countless times I’ve wanted to give up and never blog again but my blogging friends have been there to pick me back up again. Blogging is fun, and it is the best thing ever. But its also so very time consuming and it can really take a toll on your mental health at times too. You need blogging friends to help lift you up and also give you advice when you need it the most.
I’ve had so many heart to hearts about blogging with my friends that I have lost count. Sometimes you just need to vent. And the people who know you and are around you wont necessarily know what you’re going through. Its always a good idea to talk to someone who can relate to your experiences. And blogging friends can, because they are your team mates.

THEY GIVE THE BEST BLOGGING ADVICE
Who better to ask for advice about blogging than a blogger? It makes perfect sense to me! There have been so many times I’ve been stuck with something and one of my blogging friends has been able to help me. Twitter is a great space for this as there are several popular hashtags you can use to get answers to any of your blogging related questions. Whether you are stuck on content ideas, or you need help figuring out Adsense. They are there for you. And you are there for them too!
I’ve had nothing but a positive experience with other bloggers in the community. Even if you don’t know them yet, bloggers are just willing and ready to help you in any way that they can. Its so refreshing to see considering some social media platforms can be quite toxic.

THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU
One great thing about making friends around the world is that when you need someone they will be there for you. So many times I’ve needed help or advice and they are there. I could even say here that I open up and tell some of my blogging friends more personal stuff than I do to people who actually know me. Which is crazy.
I have some blogging friends I speak with every single day without fail. My friend Shelly and I even went into business together for our 30 day blogging strategy. We had only known each-other maybe half a year or so. But thats what blogging does for us. It connects us to one another, and its such a lovely thing.
