The festive season is very much upon us and I honestly cannot wait to have some time off. Looking back on 2021 as a year, I in ways feel like its been harder then 2020. Last year we were not allowed to see our loved ones at Christmas and it was so hard. So this year you better believe that were going crazy over here and making up for lost time!
There are so many fun things you can do this festive season that involve all of your friends and family. Which is why I’m sharing today 5 activities to do this festive season! I hope you enjoy them!
VISIT A GARDEN CENTRE
Here in the UK garden centres are the place to be if you want to get into the festive spirit. They are literally a place you can have a whole day out if you wanted to. If you’re not familiar with the joy of a garden centre its a place you go to buy plants and things for your garden (backyard). They also sell craft items there too and a bunch of other home stuff too.
Every Christmas they go all out and decorate so festive and alot of the time they have Santa visit there too. Which is so fun for kids!

TAKE PART IN CHRISTMAS QUIZZES
2020s festive season was full of online Christmas quizzes and I think we should go back to it! I really loved taking part in weekly quizzes with my family and I don’t see why we cant bring it back this year. Especially if you cant see family or friends for whatever reason.
Set up a Christmas quiz with your favourite people and see how much fun you can have this festive season!

PLAY ONLINE GAMES
Whether its at Christmas or any other time of the year, online games are such a great way to spend your time. Especially if you’re learning whilst playing too. Culinaryschools.org has such a great selection of educational cooking games for adults and for kids. Some of my favourites include the sweety chocolate cake baking. Not only is the game interactive, it actually follows the exact recipe you need to bake a lovely chocolate cake. Which I think is so cool! You could play and follow on yourself at the same time.
These types of games are great too if you’re a teacher and you’re wanting to teach kids about cooking and the basics of it. Take some time out this festive season and play some culinary schools games!

SING CAROLS AT CHURCH
Even if you’re not religious, singing carols at Christmas time is such a festive thing to do. So many churches at this time of year have Christmas carol services you are free to attend. Alot of people tend to go to church services for this around the festive season as a way to kick start Christmas time.

I love visiting Christmas decorated gardens! I always wonder how they get some of the lights so high up in the tree. Overall, the walk through makes for a wonderfully romantic and magical night.
I love these ideas! Quizzes are so much fun & anything Christmas themed is always great 🙂 x
