Whether you realise it or not, at some point you will have suffered from imposter syndrome as a blogger. It might not have been obvious at the time, but I bet when you read this post you’ll be thinking “wow, this is me.’ Impostor syndrome is something I didn’t even know about myself until a few months ago. And after some research, I came to realise its quite common in various different aspects of life.

There have been countless times I have told myself I can’t do something, or I’m not good enough. Which we know is not true and is just a feeling. But having these feelings can really get in the way of success and us growing as people and bloggers.

The Best Way to Bulk Write Your Blog Content

The Best Way to Bulk Write Your Blog Content

When I first started blogging I had no idea what it was to bulk write content. I tended to just write as I went and even sometimes write my posts on the day before posting. Bulk writing was something I looked into months down the line and its the strategy and way I have been creating content for my blog for months now. As bloggers I feel like we are pressed for time alot. We have another things to do on our lists. And actually writing only equates to about 30% of what we do behind the scenes. Writing obviously plays a big part in our websites, but time is usually not on our side. I don’t have time to sit and write posts every single day, especially as I work full time around my blog.

My One Year Blogging Anniversary

My One Year Blogging Anniversary

I can’t quite believe that Olivia Lucie Blake has turned one and its my one year blogging anniversary. Coming back to blogging after having almost 4 years away from this site, I had no idea what I was coming back to. If you are unsure of my blogging journey story, my blog was originally called Diadem of Beauty. With my main goal of wanting to share about beauty and hair products for all different races and hair types. I blogged on this topic for about a year. I didn’t see much growth in that year, as I was so inconsistent and realised that I had created such a small niche in my content. Slowly realising that I had lost my passion, the posts were few and far between and thats when I gave up.

6 Things Bloggers Should Never Do

6 Things Bloggers Should Never Do

I see so many posts about bloggers, and the sort of things we should be doing. But, I hardly ever see posts about what bloggers shouldn’t do. I am no where near a professional at this, but I have seen and made my fair share of blogging mistakes.

When I first started blogging, I had no idea what niche I wanted to put my blog in. And honestly, you don’t even have to niche yourself if you don’t want to. The lifestyle niche I fell into just happened naturally, and sometimes thats the way it goes. Or you choose and niche and then swap it.

What To Do When Your Blog Stats Get Low

What To Do When Your Blog Stats Get Low

If you were to ask any blogger that the main concern they have of their blog, 9 times out of ten they’d reply something to do with there blog stats. And I probably would too. Bloggers worry about anything and everything to do with their blogs. Sometimes we tend to worry too much. As a blogger I know that alot of our ‘success’ comes down to how many followers we have, or how many likes, views and comments our posts get. And when these numbers get low, it’s easy for us to become discouraged.

I Nearly Gave Up on Blogging & Here’s Why I Didn’t

I Nearly Gave Up on Blogging & Here’s Why I Didn’t

I nearly gave up on blogging, and I’m sure so many of you have too. I think so many of us bloggers go through phases of feeling like we want to quit and give up. When things don’t go our way, or we aren’t seeing the results we want its so easy to feel discouraged. Blogging is really tough sometimes, and often it feels like the joy of it gets taken away when other things are going on. And don’t get me wrong, I really love what I do. But with anything, when other aspects of life are getting on top of you, sometimes blogging has to take a back seat.
