Thank You For One Thousand

I didn’t even know how to start this post. Because I was not quite prepared for me to hit this milestone so quickly. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for choosing to follow me. I restarted this blog at the beginning of July with 160 followers and no idea what I was doing (still don’t) and here I am on the 28th July hitting 1,000 followers. I never once thought this would happen and so soon.

I am still learning and making mistakes and still will. Theres always so much to learn with anything, especially blogging. Thank you for sticking with me. I hope that this can continue, and I hope this community of people can build up into an army of positive, self confident, kind humans. 💕

I did a blog post recently that was called ‘5 Lessons I’ve Learnt From My Parents‘ and I thought it would be a great idea to do the same post but based around things I’ve learnt from my friends. There is this stigma that if you want to get up late and not go out that you are “lazy” or “unmotivated”. I say forget that stigma. I’m here to tell you that it’s okay if you don’t want to do anything some days. I even encourage having days where you don’t do anything. We need to get out of the habit of expecting everybody to always be on, and ready to go at any given time. Life doesn’t work like that. Just because you might want to sleep in all day, or not get changed out of your PJs doesn’t mean you aren’t motivated or have any drive to be successful.
