20 Ways to Fall In Love With Yourself

20 Ways to Fall In Love With Yourself

Do you struggle finding ways to show yourself love? It can be hard after years of hating the way that you are. I don’t think social media and the media in general today helps with that. They praise certain body types whilst bashing others. They help to set this expectation in peoples lives that we must look and be a certain way to ‘fit in’, and anybody who doesn’t conform that standard is seen as an outsider and unwanted.

In todays post we will be going through 20 things you can do to fall in love with yourself. Some easier than others but all beneficial to creating that great relationship with ones self. Self-love is hard and can be a long progress. It will mentally be tough and maybe physically, but the main thing is that you start. We must learn to wholeheartedly love ourselves and accept who we are as people. So much of self hate comes from the lack of confidence and love for ourselves, and it can stem from mental health illnesses too. I hope todays post inspires you to start your journey.

3 Ways to Adjust Your Self-care Routine For Autumn

3 Ways to Adjust Your Self-care Routine For Autumn

Its so important to me to make sure that self-care is practiced all year long, but I agree that it should be adapted as the seasons change. The self-care routine we do in summer should be different to the one we do in Winter. For me personally, I find the colder months the hardest on me mentally and physically as I suffer with asthma and Seasonal affective disorder (SAD).

Incorporating self care into everyday life is something I wish I had done sooner in life. It really makes such a big difference to my mental health and my overall wellbeing. I thought I’d share some tips you could add to your Autumn self care and some tips I even use myself over the colder months. I hope they help and you can add new steps to your routine from this post!

Social Media Breaks & Why We Need Them

Social Media Breaks & Why We Need Them

Social media breaks are something that should be utilised more than they currently are. Do you ever get the feeling like you just want to delete all of your socials and run away from your phone? Me too! We should do everything in moderation, but phone consumption is at an all time high. You rarely meet someone who doesn’t have a phone. Technology and social media can be a blessing and a curse. I have spoken before on my blog at how social media – specifically Instagram can play such a huge part in helping to grow your online presence but at what cost? Remember there is a fine line, everything in moderation.

We probably miss out on so much of our lives because our heads are buried in our phones. Thats such a sad thought. I’m so glad that I wasn’t brought up around all of this technology and that I was able to have such a great childhood without having to be entertained with an electronic device. Social media breaks are something that should be done on a more regular basis, just to keep us sane. We spend so much time on our phones that we often forget to live life not through a screen. In todays post I hope to share some thoughts on social media breaks and why I think we need them.

The Benefits I’ve Seen From Using Instagram For Blogging

The Benefits I’ve Seen From Using Instagram For Blogging

I don’t think alot of people realise the work that goes into running a blog full time, there’s so much more to it than just writing and posting content. Theres the interaction side of it, and making sure that you are supporting other people as much as they are supporting you. Theres the upkeep, making sure that all of the links are working on your site, and making sure you are staying ontop of post ideas and emails and sticking to your blogging schedule. I could go on and on.

I know there are a few people out there who don’t like Instagram, and I can understand why. In the recent years they have changed their algorithm, and it’s made it even harder for creators for their work to be seen. I started my blog instagram page in September, previous to starting the blog page I was using my own personal Instagram. It didn’t take me long to realise this was a bad idea. I think for me it’s important to have some sort of separation from personal and blog, which is the main reason why I started the separate account.

Since starting my Instagram account I have personally seen many benefits of having the account for my blog, and today I’ll be going through those benefits today.

The 5 Types Of People You Should Surround Yourself With

The 5 Types Of People You Should Surround Yourself With

I regularly speak on the types of people you should surround yourself with and how it has such an impact on who you are as a person. I saw something on Facebook not to long ago, and it wasn’t even when I was seeking blogging inspiration. A lesson here to be had that inspiration can come at the most random moments. As I was saying, I saw a post that listed 5 types of people you should surround yourself with and I was like, this would be a perfect blog topic. So here we are.

How I Balance Blogging Around a Full Schedule

How I Balance Blogging Around a Full Schedule

It can be so hard balancing the things that come with life, some things we choose to do and some things we have to do. When I restarted my blog this year I didn’t realise that it would be like a full time job and I already have a full time job. I know some fellow blogging friends of mine have families and kids they have to look after too, so I cant even image running a blog and having to juggle all of that.

I often get asked how I post so much and how I manage to balance everything to stay afloat. So this is why this post is here! I want to share what I personally do to keep onto of my blog whilst having a full time job and other commitments. It’s not easy, but I hope these tips can help to take some weight off of your shoulders.

30 Blogmas Post Ideas For Bloggers

30 Blogmas Post Ideas For Bloggers

Even though my blog has been around for 5 years, this will be the first Christmas where I will be an active blogger! How exciting. And with that, I had heard the word ‘blogmas’ being thrown around occasionally and did some research into it. If you’re familiar with YouTube and vlogmas, its the same concept. You post a blog post everyday in the lead up to Christmas.

I haven’t decided if I wanted to take part or not, but I thought it would be helpful to post some post ideas if you decide to take part! I’m posting this obviously really early before Christmas, because if you do want to take part I’d start writing the posts now!

So lets get into it!

Blogging Q&A: You Ask, I Answer

Blogging Q&A: You Ask, I Answer

I would never consider myself established or a subject matter expert on blogging, but I do get DM’s and questions about blogging, especially from newbies. As many of you already know my blogging story, I wont bore you with a repeat. But I would have found it so helpful if a fellow blogger at the time had an open discussion with their readers and answered as many blogging questions as they could. So I thought I’d give it a try today.

As I have already said, I’m by no means an expert at this. But I really want to help new and or established bloggers, with any helpful advice I can give.

Blogging Advice I’ve Learnt Whilst Blogging

Blogging Advice I’ve Learnt Whilst Blogging

Before I started a blog I didn’t really look or research what goes into it and didn’t seek much blogging advice. I just saw others doing it and thought “I want to do this too!”. Of course if you are considering starting a blog or have just started one, I’d recommend doing the opposite of what I did. Its always good to research anything before you do it, especially when it involves the internet.

Blogging advice can vary, what I think works for me and my blog might not be the same case for you or another blogger. We don’t all have the same audiences, we don’t all have the same opinions and preferences in style and colours. Everybody has different thoughts and processes they follow.

Today I wanted to share the blogging advice I have learnt whilst blogging, in hopes it helps you on your blogging journey too!
