The 4 Types of Negative People to Stay Away From

The 4 Types of Negative People to Stay Away From

At some point in all of our lives we will have encountered negative people, but I hope in your life you have encountered more positive than negative. Negativity is just something that comes with life, not everyone is on the same wave length or life path as you. Whether these people are in your work place, in your school class or even online, it’s important that were aware of the types of people who are out there, so that we can look out for them and avoid them. My intention with this post isn’t for it to be all negative. I think my intention here is more of a warning, for us to be all looking out for these types of people so that they don’t get a chance to infiltrate our lives.

The people you surround yourself with have such a great impact on your life, whether you think they do or not. They help to shape who you are, and the saying “you are who you surround yourself with” it’s so true. To lead a positive and fulfilling life, its important that your circle reflects you and your beliefs and morals. Negative people drag you down, they don’t lift you up.

Interviewing My Parents About Being Parents – Pt 2

Interviewing My Parents About Being Parents – Pt 2

Welcome to part two of Interviewing my parents about being parents. I asked my parents separately the same questions and have created this series to share what they said. If you missed the first post then you missed the interview I did with my dad! You can go back and read it here.

I really enjoyed this process and hearing two both different perspectives on parenting. It’s interesting to see the differences in answers from a fathers and mothers point of view. At the end of this post I’ll do a short re-cap of both of the posts and see what differences and similarities there have been between both my moms and dads responses.

Interviewing My Parents About Being Parents

Interviewing My Parents About Being Parents

My parents are two of the most amazing humans that I know. They are supportive, kind, caring and help me in more way than one. I don’t have many posts on my blog covering parenthood because I’m not a parent yet so I had this idea to interview my parents about being parents. I thought it would be interesting hearing their perspectives on parenting now that all of their children are grown up and are adults.

I always get people commenting on my parents skills and how amazing they are, so why not share their wise words and thoughts with the world. Be prepared that there for sure be some comedic responses to the 10 questions I have for them, because they like to think they’re funny!

This will be a two part series, with the first responses being from my dad. We won’t be sharing any personal information about my parents like their names or anything like that, but I hope you enjoy this post and find it helpful hearing a different parental perspective.
