I don’t know about you, but this year especially I have come to appreciate the people I have around me. With everything happening with the pandemic, it has reminded me that life is fragile and can be taken away at any moment. There is still so much turmoil and hate in the world, and I don’t think there will ever be a time where we are all unified as one race. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t things we can do to show our love and appreciation for others.
Showing love to others doesn’t need to be big and elaborate, it can be a small act of kindness or a small gesture in some way to brighten someones day. In todays post we’ll go through some ways you can show those around you that you appreciate them. Depending on your own love language, you might already do some of these things. But I thought it would be a good idea to spread some love and positivity into the world today, because boy do we need it.
In a world where we are increasingly moving further and further away from kindness and love, may we remember that being kind and loving is so important. If you have lost people in your life, you will appreciate what I am going to say. I regret not telling my loved ones that I love and appreciate them. And before you know it, they’re gone and you cant ever get that time back. Which is why we should learn to love and appreciate those we have around us now, before its too late!
10 Ways We Can Appreciate Others
1. SEND A CARD
2. SPEND QUALITY TIME WITH THEM
3. RANDOMLY SEND THEM A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
4. CHECK UP ON THEM
5. BE PRESENT AND IN THE MOMENT WHEN YOU’RE WITH THEM
6. MAKE AN EFFORT
7. REMIND THEM THAT YOU LOVE THEM
8. DO A RANDOM ACT OF SERVICE FOR THEM
9. BUY AN UNEXPECTED GIFT
10. TELL THEM YOU APPRECIATE THEM
As you can see, the things on this list are not huge things but things that will mean so much to someone else. I basically just wrote a list here of all of the things I would enjoy. So friends and family, if you see this it’s a hint. As I said earlier, it doesn’t need to be a big gesture, it can be something small. It doesnt matter too much about what it is, its about the thought behind it.
One of the biggest ways I share my love and appreciation is through my crocheting. I create special handmade gifts for the people I love most in the world 🧶💛

I really appreciate this post and it’s strange I feel like I’m seeing it at the perfect moment. Every so often something will happen that draws my attention to the fact that I really should show those around how much they mean to me in more ways than one and I will but then the time will fade as we go back into the daily monotony of things. I shouldn’t let that happen and yesterday something occured that knocked me sideways + had me thinking just how short life is and that I’d like to make beautiful moments happen for/with loved ones. Your list has spiraled some ideas in my mind and given a huge boost in the right direction again so thanks for that! Hope you have a lovely day 🌞💗

Yes! I guess being present with the person in that moment is the best way to tell someone that you love them. I appreciate people by just saying that they mean the world to me. Haha, it’s dramatic but they get my point. Its priceless.
Great post again Olivia!
