So many times I have started writing a list of things to be grateful for, and I have found that once you start writing, you cant stop listing the things that brings you joy. The act itself of starting to think, and acknowledge the good we have in life can be hard to start. Often times we are surrounded by negative things, and bad situations that it clouds out the good we actually have. Whenever I feel like I am going through a hard time, I find it so beneficial to remind myself of the good I have in life. The great people I am surrounded by. The job I have, the life I get to live. Those are the things that matter.
As a blogger I feel like its really part of my job, and part of who I am to remind my audience of these things. Maybe you’re going through a rough time, and you needed a reminder to think of the good you have around you. Maybe I do these posts for me too. To ground myself, and so that I can learn to be grateful for what I have. Sometimes, we both need the reminder.

Whenever I need a reminder I look at the sky. It makes me happy because we can all look the same sky, sun, moon and stars and know we all have that in common. My husband has been making me happy since high school, our kids, family, laughter, nature, life 💜
Painting , sunsets and the moon !!
Thanks for sharing your list! That’s such a great practice!

I love lots things. I wrote a post about it.
But the main things are:
Wildlife in my garden,
Texts from my wife that say “I love you”,
Working on new ideas,
Walking in the hills,
And so much else!
Life is good.
Reading, playing the piano, spending time with my family and friends and being in nature bring me joy
Saturday morning coffee and reading with my wife (currently reading your blog), sunny days in the yard with my dog, and making new friends after we moved to the other side of the country.
I’m grateful for my self growth this year. I’ve been doing amazing!
