What Brings You Joy In Life?

So many times I have started writing a list of things to be grateful for, and I have found that once you start writing, you cant stop listing the things that brings you joy. The act itself of starting to think, and acknowledge the good we have in life can be hard to start. Often times we are surrounded by negative things, and bad situations that it clouds out the good we actually have. Whenever I feel like I am going through a hard time, I find it so beneficial to remind myself of the good I have in life. The great people I am surrounded by. The job I have, the life I get to live. Those are the things that matter.

As a blogger I feel like its really part of my job, and part of who I am to remind my audience of these things. Maybe you’re going through a rough time, and you needed a reminder to think of the good you have around you. Maybe I do these posts for me too. To ground myself, and so that I can learn to be grateful for what I have. Sometimes, we both need the reminder.

  1. I love this. I use an app called The Resilience project that helps me look back over the day and write down what I am grateful for. Mine are sunshine, being out with family or friends, tea, reading, and cuddling up on the couch and watching my favourite programs☺️💛

  5. I’m grateful for all the small joys I find in my daily life. Watching a funny movie or old home videos with my family, listening to music, watching sunset, birds voice in the morning, my mom baking something yummy, fighting with my siblings… and the list goes on. Even in these tough and heartbreaking times, there are just so many things to be grateful for.

  6. We have a lot in common I guess!
But I do want to add one more..
I have a romantic flashback with books.
The first time I touched one, and even though I wasn’t old enough to even read letters (let alone words), I went for a date with it!😄 And it was lovely!
Till date, it’s something that gives me joy. And it always will!

And also… I become very happy when I’m embracing the smells that I love!. 😃😄

  13. Beautiful post! I’m thankful that where I live covid rates are going down. I can start to enjoy my weekly coffee with my friends after dropping our kids off at school. I’ve really enjoyed time at home with my family but also missed my social contact with my mum friends
